Saturday 2.13.10

Hi Mommy!!!! I can't wait to be with you again!!!
Suckin' away on her pacifier
I like when Daddy tickles my cheek... it makes me smile!
Dinner time with Daddy
Even when I'm crying I'm still an angel :)

Today has been a day filled with lots of visitors and lots of well wishes. Thank you to all the friends, family, and co-workers that came up today and even sent prayers and gifts from hours away. Our families really appreciate it!

Ashley had a so-so night of rest. She was feeling nauseous and was throwing up throughout most of the night so today was a day full of rest for her. But she did get to shower and walk a teeny bit so she feels like a brand new woman!

Jerad, Bob, Grandma Geneva, Angie, Trent, and me all went over to Children's Mercy today to see baby Jeryn. Since Jerad was with us this time... that meant I got to see her for the first time today!!! And no... I was not mistaken for a 14 year old this time :) Jeryn is truly a precious miracle. I was just in awe in how CUTE she is! Jerad and Ash definitely made a cute baby! She got to be held by her daddy again and he got to feed her and change her diaper. The Children's Mercy folks are thinking that Jeryn could be ready to leave in two days. We can't thank the wonderful staff enough at Children's Mercy for the love and care they have devoted to Jeryn.

Now we are praying hard for Ashley to keep making progress so she can see that beautiful bambino of hers!!!!! This will be the most spoiled baby you've ever seen :)

  2. Hello to you all from the Ruscos. We have been sending prayers your way like crazy, through our church, school, and anyone else we can find to pray for you. Jeryn is absolutely beautiful, and so blessed to be part of such a wonderful family. We know you all are anxious to be together as a family, and we hope and pray that is soon. Kala, thanks so much for sharing with us the daily updates. All of the photos are amazing, and make us feel like we are all a part of this journey. Congratulations to you all! LOL
