My first Valentine's Day with my favorite guy... my daddy!
Hi Uncle Shane! I know this was us a couple days ago... but I miss you already. I hope you made it back to Reno safely. And I really, really hope you come back and see me soon!

Happy Valentine's Day from our family to yours!!!We all feel truly lucky and LOVED this Valentine's Day!!! And most importantly our two girls had a wonderful Valentine's day as well :) The best news of all... Ashley got moved out of ICU... woo-hoo! She is now back on the maternity ward and is feeling much better. Her kidneys are starting to come around too but she will still have another round of dialysis tomorrow with Tim. She is still feeling extremely tired, and is pretty much sleeping all day and chatting with visitors in between her naps.
Jeryn is still charming everybody over at Children's Mercy :) She will be discharged either tomorrow or Tuesday. It sounds like Tuesday is the more likely reunion day with mommy! We all know Ashley and Jeryn reuniting will be a true miracle. A week ago tomorrow we all were terrified of what may lie ahead and now just a short week later... here we are watching the Olympics in the waiting room and getting excited for Ashley to see, touch, smell, and love her daughter for basically the first time. If that's not a miracle... I don't know what is! God has truly kept Ashley and Jeryn under his watch and care thanks to ALL the prayers that you have sent. We appreciate them more than you will ever know. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
And for all you romantics out there... prepare to be impressed with my husband's Valentine's Day surprise. I'm talking epic here folks... he won us tickets to... drumroll please... Monster Jam! That's right... a monster truck show. If that's not an unforgettable Valentine's Day then I don't know what is haha. Not the traditional romantic Valentine's date... but Trent and I probably aren't your traditional couple either haha. Happy Valentine's Day to my darling hubs, our families, our friends, and all you blog stalkers out there! Thanks for checking in on the girls again!
I am a self-proclaimed and proud of it blog stalker of yours! Once again, thanks Kala! I am so happy that Shane was able to come! Did Mindy come too? And SOOO relieved to hear that Ash is doing so well. If tomorrow is reunion day for mommy and baby, I CAN'T WAIT FOR TOMORROW!!! That reunion will be one of the best moments ever. I love you Ash and Jeryn!
