Soooo... life has been hectic and my blogging has definitely suffered! That's what starting your masters program and stupid state assessments will do to you! I've been getting some complaints so I figured I better post ASAP before the hate mail starts coming in.
Ashley and Jeryn are continuing to improve daily and life is a wonderful thing! Jeryn got to finally do her newborn pictures, even though she's almost 1 month old. She is a picture natural by now :)
The pictures were done by Rachel and David Moore of RPM photography. They did our wedding photography, we got to 'model' for them in a "Day After" wedding session, Ashley and Jerad used them for maternity "Waiting for Baby" pictures, and now they will be documenting Jeryn in her first year. We loved working with Rachel and David from the very start and have always been 150% satisfied with their pictures and with our interactions with them. They were the first photographers we met with and after clicking with them instantly at our first meeting I canceled all my other appointments and only wanted to work with them. They are

I have been blog-stalking them for 2 years now and Rachel's given me several shout outs on her blog... so now it's my chance to give a shout out to HER! If anyone is ever in need of a photographer then definitely check out

Pre... Extreme Makeover- Bedroom Edition. This is our master bedroom... months and months ago. Back before we had mini blinds. I came thissss close to having ghetto fabulous sheets to cover our windows... but we learned to do everything in the dark instead... never could bring myself to throw up a towel on the window. Do you know what it costs to put mini blinds in an entire brand new house?!? That ain't cheap!
Our furry little helpers... please ignore laundry/magazines/anything on the floor that got thrown on the bed. I swear we are organized and clean!
Post makeover... "leather saddle" on the accent wall for the bed, and "toasted mushroom" for the other walls. We still have to do the part in our ceiling where we have recessed lighting...
And next on the to do lists... Trent build Kala's night stand... finally hang some dang curtains... and paint the sink area and the shower area... those should be soon, maybe.
2 rooms over my spring break was enough... next painting project... summer break!!!! Only like 8 weeks away folks! Not that I'm counting down or anything ;)
