Pre... Extreme Makeover- Bedroom Edition. This is our master bedroom... months and months ago. Back before we had mini blinds. I came thissss close to having ghetto fabulous sheets to cover our windows... but we learned to do everything in the dark instead... never could bring myself to throw up a towel on the window. Do you know what it costs to put mini blinds in an entire brand new house?!? That ain't cheap!Sunday, March 28, 2010

Ashley has a blog!
Ashley has her own blog now so those of you who want to stop reading about our mundane day-to-days can check hers out now. Fur babies, parties, and house projects are nearly as news breaking as the Gorney clan ;)

Spring Break Project #1- Laundry Room
Even though my spring break was supposed to be nothing but sleeping, shopping, and scrapbooking... that didn't really happen. Instead... I did some projects around the house. Here's the debut of the new laundry room!

Ellie the Edge
At the dealership with our car dealer Jace, and our new car, Ellie the Edge.Highlight of the week... getting a new car... AND starting spring break :)
After Trent and I got married we bought a cute little Mazda 3. She was my sports car baby... tinted windows, sunroof, fully loaded, etc. And she was a pain ever since. We finally got sick of it and sold it to a nice girl in Topeka... she loved it so much she bought it from us before she had seen it in person! So we bought us a Ford Edge and we LOVE it!!! My first two cars were SUV's so it's nice to be back with some power on the road ;) And for a few years down the road... it's got lots of room for carseats haha. We can't thank Jace at Danny Zeck Ford enough for helping us... he was awesome!
And I also started spring break :) So all this week I will be doing nothing but the 3 S's... sleeping, shopping, and scrapbooking! (And unfortunately some housework and cooking I promised to the hubs, ugh).
Trent's oldest sister Angie, and two of the nephews, Jordan and Joshua, came up to KC this weekend and got to see Jeryn and hold her for the first time. The pictures are really cute but they are on Ashley's camera so I don't have them yet but will post them when I do!

So it's been awhile...
Keep reading on to find out what this picture is for (Rachel- I borrowed it from your facebook :) hope you don't mind)Soooo... life has been hectic and my blogging has definitely suffered! That's what starting your masters program and stupid state assessments will do to you! I've been getting some complaints so I figured I better post ASAP before the hate mail starts coming in.
Ashley and Jeryn are continuing to improve daily and life is a wonderful thing! Jeryn got to finally do her newborn pictures, even though she's almost 1 month old. She is a picture natural by now :)
The pictures were done by Rachel and David Moore of RPM photography. They did our wedding photography, we got to 'model' for them in a "Day After" wedding session, Ashley and Jerad used them for maternity "Waiting for Baby" pictures, and now they will be documenting Jeryn in her first year. We loved working with Rachel and David from the very start and have always been 150% satisfied with their pictures and with our interactions with them. They were the first photographers we met with and after clicking with them instantly at our first meeting I canceled all my other appointments and only wanted to work with them. They are sooo much fun to work with and truly have amazing work. Go check out Jeryn's newborn session at rpmkc.blogspot.com!!!
I have been blog-stalking them for 2 years now and Rachel's given me several shout outs on her blog... so now it's my chance to give a shout out to HER! If anyone is ever in need of a photographer then definitely check out rpmkc.com and check out their work.... you won't be disappointed. I hope Rachel realizes that she'll be doing pictures for our family for the rest of our lives :) She's NEVER getting rid of us now!
P.S. Rachel and David- when are we doing that dinner?!?
