For those of you who read the blog way back in February you saw that for Valentine's Day, Trenton took me to Monster Jam. He won those tickets and while, yes, it was quite the experience ;) my real Valentine's Day was tickets to see my two absolute favorite bands... Nickelback and Shinedown at the Sprint Center in KC!!!
Sick Puppies played first... they are a band from Australia. I only knew one of their songs but they sounded really good! And helloooo... who doesn't love an Australian accent?

Please excuse the bad picture quality... I left the good camera at home and brought the party camera ;) Shinedown played second and were awesome as usual. Although I was a little disappointed cause they only played for 45 minutes and missed a couple of my favorite songs :( But the last time we saw them they were the headliners so I'm sure that makes a difference.

Then on came Breaking Benjamin and the crazies started coming out! This is our "what-the-heck-is-this-crazy-broad-next-to-us-doing" faces. We had aisle seats and out comes this lady in some crazy red cheetah-ish pants head-banging and dancing next to us. And that ladies and gentlemen is why Trent sits on the outsides... bodyguard purposes.

Check out the mosh-pit down below... it was packed!

Waiting for Nickelback!!!!

There's Chad in a blaze of glory!

Being the scrapbooker that I am, I really enjoyed all their personal pictures that they showed on the screen while they played one of my favorites, "Photograph." There were some really funny ones that I wish I would've been quick enough to catch!

If I played guitar it would have to be on a glittered one like this one :)

If you look closely on the stage you can see the 10 stage hands that came out throwing drinks into the crowd and shooting beers from a cannon. A cannon! Sadly, none came close enough to reach us.
It was 5 hours of amazing music and the best Monday night we've had in awhile!!! And Trent has yet to complain of his ears ringing. After our last concert he whined about his ears ringing for
3 days! He told me that for the next concert we went to he was going to wear earplugs. I told him I'd pretend not to know him if he did it. Thankfully, he was wise enough to leave his pink and yellow earplugs behind... he can be such an old man ;)
