McNeese Customs Anniversary

Another weekend, another road trip to Emporia! But this time it was for the McNeese Customs Anniversary weekend at their motorcycle shop. Charles McNeese, is the owner of the shop and is one of Trent's best friends. And Trent being Trent, we just HAD to ride his new Harley down. Did it matter that it was cold, gray, and threatening to rain? Noooo... we'll be fine he kept assuring me. But even though the ride was only an hour long... it was still cold, still gray, and looked like the skies would open up on us at any moment. Then to top it off my helmet was bothering me so Trent pulled over to inspect my helmet... and he broke it!!! But since Trent is a jack-of-all-trades ;) we bought a travel sewing kit and he fixed my helmet good as new :) Is it weird that my husband can sew and I wouldn't even know where to start?!

Random fact about Kala= I can sleep anywhere. No really... anywhere. At a Harley shop where motorcycles are starting up every 5 minutes? Sure... doesn't faze me!

Chance's new chopper that he just finished! It is sa-weet!

With the first lady of McNeese Customs... Kim McNeese! Check out the matching tanks ;)

Here is Charles and Trent... the two gearheads that redesigned and rebuilt Trent's bagger. They are both VERY happy with the end result.

Trenton, his wife, and his mistress. Yes people, you heard right... his mistress. That is what he named his bike. Should I be offended? I just hope people around our neighborhood don't start asking questions when he hollers in the house that he's taking his mistress for a ride.

Guess who's under there smiling? That would be yours truly :) Luckily our friend Shayne had this mask I wore to stay warm and dry on the ride home. These masks always creep me out when I see other people wearing them... but for some reason I just felt tough in it. But man did I get some looks from people who saw me!
