Backyard Camping/ Worthstock
I wanted to go camping. Like for real camping. But with no open weekends in sight I had to settle for second best. Camping in the backyard. Woop woop!! Tent... check... lawnchairs and tiki torches... check... smores... check check! Guess it's better than nothing although I can only imagine what our neighbors must've been thinking haha!
Bentley and Harlee were equally as excited to go camping.
Trent putting up our tent. I helped. Sort of.
Handsomest dog in the whole wide world. Hands down.
Self timer pic from the edge of the grill? You know it!
The new ginormous Worth Harley Davidson dealership by KCI had it's big grand opening party called Worthstock on Saturday so our biker gang (haha as if I would be cool enough or tough enough for a biker gang... this girl can dream) came up from Emporia and we took a trip up north to check it out. They were expecting 8000- 10,000 people and that number was easily there.
Here's just a pic of a tiny amount of people that were standing by the stage. They had bands all day long and the headliners that night was the band Brother Clyde (Billy Ray Cyrus and Phil Vassar are in it!!) and Jakyll. We thought about staying but were soooooo hot and tired we headed to the Legends for dinner instead.
Alllll the crazies came out for Worthstock. Seeing this drunk lady (laying in the grass in the pic) roll down the hill over and over and over again provided us with some entertainment. Front somersaults, log rolls, crab crawls, back somersaults... she did it all! She just didn't do any of them well ;)
Good thing that Nurse Kim was on hand in case the poor lady needed some help!
We finished our day with dinner at the Orange County Choppers restaurant at the Legends. Very cool place for tough bikers like ourselves haha ;)
