I stopped blogging here for two reasons...
1. Blogger told me something about running out of room and that I'd have to start paying?!? Say what?? No thank you. I probably could've looked into it more and figured something out but reason number two...
2. Honestly, I was kind of tired of posting. I was always behind, could never catch up, and that BUGS me to no end. I hate not being caught up on things. Laundry, dishes, blogging, etc.
BUT then....
In August we found out about a major life change- the addition of 10 little fingers and 10 little toes coming to our family in April! Which of course made me want to blog again to keep friends and family afar updated on things. So with that news... I have started a new blog. Please check it out for all things Baby O related. If you're not interested in baby things I recommend you find a different blog... our lives have officially changed!

Wieners, Balls, and Poop
Now as dirty as that title sounds it will all make sense by the end of the post. I don't have that crude of a sense of humor.
About a month ago we went to the Royals game with the Gorneys. Not only was it seats in the Diamond Club, but it was also Buck Night and Fireworks Friday. Pretty much everything I like about going to the Royals. Jeryn clearly took advantage of $1 hot dogs since she ate THREE. Yes, that's right. Jeryn Fe ate three weiners. We got alot of weiner jokes out of that night.
She obviously needed to work off those three wieners so we walked around to the carousel and fountains. While we were gone, Jerad caught a foul ball that came flying at our table. It's a good thing we were gone cause us gals didn't want to get hit by any balls.
And now for the poop part- Jeryn Fe you'll hate me for this someday. Just remember that Tia loves you :)
Ashley went to go look at the souvenir shop so me and J-Fe were hanging out- girl talk, people watching, hopping, the usual. She told me that she needed to go potty- which is awesome since I know they've been working on potty training. I figured since she told me that she had to potty, we were gonna make it in time so I didn't grab the diaper bag. Bad mistake.
We get to the fancy schmancy Diamond Club restrooms and it's packed full. Luckily, the handicapped one was open so in we went. I have Jeryn stand there to pull down her shorts and her pull ups and out rolls.... little poop marbles. That's the best way that I can describe it. It was basically balls of poop rolling around everywhere. Awesome.
Just wait, it gets better. So here I am on the floor of the handicapped stall trying to pick up her poop marbles- with toilet paper to throw in the toilet. I've taken her shorts and pull up off so she's standing with only a shirt and her Nikes on. Little country mouth junior doesn't exactly have an "inside voice" yet so while I'm doing this she's practically yelling- "Tia, what is that?", "Tia, is that my poop on the floor?", "Tia, I see poop." etc. And then... she grabs one too. So if she wasn't loud before, now she's really yelling. "Ahhh, Tia, I got poop on my hand!! Get it off!! YUCKY! POOP!!!" And at this point I'm cracking up so hard because what else can I do? So I sit her on the toilet, try to wipe her hands with toilet paper and she tells me that she doesn't have to go anymore. Ya, no crap kid.
I then do the unthinkable... I shove her pull up in the feminine product trash can, put her back in her shorts "commando", and we quickly wash our hands. I'm hanging my head in shame at this point and don't make eye contact with anybody. They all heard what went down, no point in making nice with the Diamond Club ladies.
So J-Fe and I hightail it back to our seats, mutter something to Trent and Jerad, grab a pull up, and fly back to the restrooms. Now the stupid bathrooms are empty. Of course they are. After a fresh pull up, another hand washing, and some more hopping, all was well with the diva. And Ashley and Jerad really enjoyed that they missed out on this one.
Jeryn Fe, never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine I would get to scrape your poop marbles off the bathroom floor at a Royals game. You keep life exciting, that's for sure! Tia loves you very much and will probably tell that story to all of your boyfriends someday, you're welcome. I think that's only fair :)

The Big 2-9 for Big O!
Happy birthday to you hubby! The last one of your twenties... dangggg old man ;) But seriously... I hope that your 29th year is your best one yet. May we live it up until you turn 30... and after that you can just start lying about your age like someone you're related to **cough, cough, Ashley, cough, cough**. And I promise that at some point this year I'll let YOU be the one who acts like they're still 21... cause age is just a number baby and we're not a day past 21! I love you and happy birthday!!

Best Friend Day!
Did you know that June 8th is National Best Friends Day?! I didn't either until an unexpected present arrived on my doorstep last year from my BFF. She's the best :)
To my "sister of the heart", Jobeth- you are literally my best friend forever, BFF's homie. Through thick and thin, ups and downs, love and heartbreak- you've been by my side through it all. There is no one else in the world (besides our husbands of course) that I could literally spend 24/7 with and never get sick of. We're exactly alike and yet so different which makes us the perfect pair :) Thanks for being a friend, an old roommate, a colleague, a sister, and my hero. I love you!!!!
And to all my other best friends- what would I do without you?! Each of you has taught me to be a better friend, sister, wife, teacher, future mother, and person in some way. I'm lucky to have such amazing people in my life that I can call you not my friends, but my family!

"Vegas is Disneyworld for adults"- Jobeth
We started planning our end of April trip to Vegas clear back around Halloween... so the big trip was much anticipated! This was our first big vacation with friends we've ever done so to say that we were excited was an understatement. I could barely get through the day at work!! Especially cause you really can't tell 5th graders that you're headed to Vegas. They know what happens in Vegas ;)
In the loudest cab ride we've ever taken. For real. Our driver "Mo" had a pimped out/blacked out Suburban that took us to our resort. Everyone's ears were ringing after our 10 minute cab ride cause of his LOUD speakers. I'm not exaggerating either! And no... pimped out is not usually in my everyday vocabulary. Even though I'm pretty gangsta ;)
As soon as we got to the condo we quickly changed into some warmer clothes and hit the strip! This was my first time to Vegas and I was in awe of all the lights/sights/sounds!
Jess had told us the Bellagio fountains were so beautiful that it could make you cry and she didn't disappoint- they were easily one of my top 5 faves from the trip!
Who knew that a pineapple vodka could cost you almost 10 bucks. Dang..... totally worth it though :)
A Statue of Liberty made entirely of Jelly Beans?!? Almost pretty enough not to eat... almost... I'd start with her crown in case you were wondering.
Couple's strip pictures. That sounds dirty- I meant couples posing on the Vegas strip. What did you think I meant? Geez people- get your dirty minds out of the gutter ;)
Kyle's parents were nice enough to let us borrow the family van to drive up to the airport.
Jess made sure to wear her brightest clothing so she wouldn't get lost ;)
On the plane and soooo excited to leave KC.

Day 7- on the sea again
It's official! 11 months later (seriously) and I'm finally done blogging on our cruise. I know we took 1300 pictures and all but come on- I sucked at blogging about it. One of my summer goals is to get ALL caught up on blogging. I'm hopeful since it's only May and I'm really motivated :) Without further ado... our last day on our cruise was spent on the open seas...
Some final pictures of the boat- so pretty!
We rock climbed that morning.
**Revision** Evidently my memory has failed me because I swore up and down that I beat Trent but evidently he and his family remember things a bit differently... rematch on the next cruise?
After rock climbing we headed to the Flow Rider. Trent, Jerad, and me were the only ones foolish enough to try. Trent made it look somewhat easy so I figured it wasn't gonna be too bad.
I was wrong- it was hard!! And as Ashley pointed out- I look like a cheerleader even while falling. I'm just glad I didn't lose my bottoms like that one girl. Yikes.
And probably one of my most favorite pictures of Jerad ever. Especially after his infamous quote, "I used to skateboard when I was younger, so I'll probably be pretty good at this." Oh how that will haunt him for the rest of his life ;)
The rest of the day was spent lounging by the pool sipping on some of these concoctions. Light up souvenir glass and all :)
Our boat sailed by Miami that sunset.
The whole family- when's our next one guys??
How gorgeous is that?!?
Sunset pic with my love
Our last dinner with our awesome servers.
Ending the cruise just like we started it- cheersing with some wine!
Lora bringing out her inner model :)
The next day back on the plane to head back to KC. We were so sad to end our trip, that's for sure!

After we got ready that night we all headed to the front of the ship for our Jack and Rose moment. Doesn't everybody act out the scene from Titanic?!?

Day 6- Cozumel
And on to Day 6...
We started the day with some shopping.
Then hit up the beach for some cervezas :)
From the day we booked our cruise I told Trent I had to take a Zac Brown pic. You know the line..."toes in the water, ass in the sand, not a worry in the world, a cold beer in my hand... life is good today." :)
For those who we sent Christmas cards to- you've already seen this one. It was July 1st when we were taking it. Trent's always such a good sport for me.
My fave from the whole trip
Family beach day was AWESOME
My favorite activity
The fam
Ashley and Jerad's Corona based commercial for Sol.
I paid cinco dineros to play with some monkeys. They were crazy little guys!
After lounging on the beach all day we decided to hit the open water on some jet skis.
Loved this- so much fun in the crystal blue water
Lora and Bob did some "Corona commercials" as well
Cheap cervezas and chips and salsa= heaven in a bucket/bowl
Back to the ship...
Our only picture from that night because of some awful sea sickness- boo!! I hadn't felt nauseous at all the entire trip but that night it finally got me. Thankfully, I got a hubs who didn't mind leaving the dinner before we could eat, crawling into bed, and ordering room service with me. Plus we're total geeks who enjoyed the documentary marathon about building cruise ships on the TV that night. You'd think we were some sort of old married couple or something :)
