Every year it's tradition to take the yearly family pics while we're back home for GGG's birthday. This year we headed to a farm outside of Great Bend for some wide open backdrops. The theme this year was all shades of green if you can't tell...
Bob & Lora
Our 3 handsome nephews. This year the boys are in 7th grade, 9th grade, and 3rd grade. Yikes. Glad they can share my appreciation for Justin Bieber... just look at Jeramie's hair ;) Now if they'd all just stop getting taller than me. At least Joshy still has some growing to do...
How cute is this picture?! That little lady is something else.
The childless ones... since we were minus the furbabies. This is Trent's fave pic all because of his "prop staging"... anyone notice a very old silver beer can anywhere... we're super classy like that.
For now being an uncle and an aunt to these four loves are good enough for us :)
And a flashback to the past years...
2007- that year Trent and I got engaged the day of family pictures. The theme was black and white... but I guess I don't have those pictures since I wasn't "officially" in the fam yet ;) Bob & Ashley- can I have copies of those :)
2008- pictures at the Catholic convent. Sadly no nuns joined in our pics. We didn't have a "theme" this year but clearly me and Jerad missed the unspoken brown/green memo... outcasts of the family for sure.
2009- pictures in GGG's backyard since we got rained out of our other spot... and it was super cold. But this was the year Ashley had Jeryn as a bun-in-the-oven :)
2010- last year's pics out at Pawnee Rock with the blue/gray/silver theme... and the appearance of the little miss.
I'm so glad I joined a family that loves pictures as much as I do! I look forward to the annual tradition of picking out the color theme, finding the perfect spot, and freezing in the cold enjoying the November weather. We're already brainstorming for next year... any suggestions???

I am NOT picking the color for next year, that is for sure....but Angie has an idea, and I think it is a good one!
