Carlson Beer & Diaper Shower

Now that so many of our friends are having babies we have found another excuse other than a holiday to host a big group party. It's called a Beer & Diaper Shower. It's pretty much a couples shower but all you have to bring is your drink of choice and a package of diapers for the parents-to-be. Dave and Dana actually threw the shower, but used our house since baby Henry still can't be around a bunch of people yet. Dana had the fun idea of doing the beer/diaper shower as a surprise for Jess and Kenny and it was fun to see their reactions!

Instead of putting our hands on the baby belly... we all wanted a piece of the baby daddy ;)

Most people left the shower a little after midnight... but my bartender husband kept the party alive for the four of us by making lots of beer barrel shots!

Cays kept us all pretty entertained with her "cartwheels." She fell on her face about 4 times before we finally made her stop. And at about 4 a.m. we finally called it a night... we're getting too old for this!
